Shaunti Fera is located in Los Angeles, where she has been living and performing for five years. She has been studying Middle-Eastern dance, particularly Egyptian Oriental, for over ten years.
Shaunti has performed on a regular basis at many of LA's restaurants, including Cayenne, Moun of Tunis, Maroush, Uptown Kabob, Burger Continental, and Papa Cristo's. Since arriving in LA in 2005, she has also performed with many of LA's top bellydance companies. Over the years, she has become a widely sought after performer.
Shaunti is experienced in sword dancing, cane (saidi), candelabra (traditional for weddings), veil, and finger cymbals (zills or zagat). She performs at birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, family events, corporate events, restaurants, and nightclubs.
Since she was a young child, Shaunti has always been a student of dance. In addition to bellydance, she has trained in ballet, jazz, modern, African, and Balinese dance. Her diverse knowledge enriches her individual dance style by creating a dynamic quality of movement, packed full of variety, technique, and expression.
